The 2022 Kia EV6 gets 499 kilometres in its top trim

The 2022 Kia EV6 is the latest electric vehicle to arrive on the market from Kia and it will be arriving next year. We recently learned about the new electric vehicle’s range numbers according to the EPA, and they are impressive.

For starters, let's go over the EV6 lineup. The new electric vehicle will feature a base trim which will come with a 58-kWh battery and a single motor located on the rear axle. This trim will deliver 373 kilometres of range according to the EPA.

We then find two long-range trims which are powered by a 77.4 kWh battery. This larger battery powers a single electric motor on the rear axle like the base model, or a dual motor version with an electric motor on both the front and rear axles which translates into all-wheel-drive capability.

The rear-wheel drive long-range trim will offer the most range, and it is rated at 499 kilometres according to the EPA. We think you will agree that is very impressive. The all-wheel drive long-range version, likely the most popular Kia EV6 trim, will offer a very respectable 441 kilometres. There is no word yet on the Kia EV6 GT range numbers, but we do know it will offer 576 hp and will reach 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Give us a call today to learn more.
